Well, child services for one. I keep hearing these reports of parents getting arrested only because they spank their children. Sad, really.

It's not the only way, but if nothing else works then spanking is an invaluable tool. And if we as a society have come to a point where hitting your child on the bottom for doing something wrong is frowned upon, then I say a big old "f**k you" to society.

Spanking isn't child abuse. Abuse is extreme. If you child has bruises all over his body, that's abuse.

Well my friends mum got her children taken a way for a brief period because one of them had a mark from a punch or something similar, so in terms of the law, in my country at least they take these things seriously.
