No. But the owners (a bunch of assholes BTW) were ordered to get rid of it. They dropped it off outside of town and that was that.
It attacked their own baby so we went up there to drop off some get well stuff, despite the fact we didn't get along. I went out to the back yard and was in the swing set. I fell of and it mauled my foot. Not too bad because I don't have any scarring I can see, but I still remember it vividly. And when you are that young, it does leave an impression.
Some years later, it attacked another kid who fell of a swing set and the dog was declared a menace.
You know what the owners said?
"It's a dog. Dogs bite."
(Groans)
I do not dislike dogs though, and I have an excuse.
