Chupa's right. If you want to get better at drawing, there's only one way to go: practice, observe, learn skills and practice some more. There's also a difference between inspiration/referencing and copying. Inspiration gets you draw and try new different techniques, and references is merely making sure you get the details right (like the body is anatomically correct, the proportions make sense...). Though, I forgive little kids when they do it, they don't know better and they're just exploring. But middle school and older should know better.

Well, its a good thing you caught that person, SM. Had that person continued, it would have been a slap in the face to all the other artists that actually put effort into their work.

I guess I was a little hard on people who get the mandibles wrong, its just as an artist (trained) I'm taught to take a lot of things into consideration, including making people believe something that should be impossible.
