It gets pretty cold during British summers doesn't it?
I'd melt in 27C, once had the missfortune of being in Greece during a heat wave, was 39C for 4 days straight. I think I actually lost weight during that one!

I went to San Diego 2 years back and it almost killed me. It was up in the 30's nearly every day.

I really enjoy the show.  The testing is wank, but how else could you actually ever do it short of getting experts on the weapons and combat tactics to fight non-lethally?  It's not possible, I don't think, plus the battles in the end are quite fun to watch.  I appreciate the show for showing us a ton of great weapons, exploring the tactics of different forces through history, and actually studying them with scientific tools.  It's very interesting and has a lot to offer if you can get over your personal feelings about how you think it would go, but I know that's a chore for some .

It would be a little cooler if they had fewer mouth-breathing "experts" and more historians that actually analyzed the historical data.

I'm part of the LGBTQ community myself, but I DESPISE when another LGBTQ "hates" someone because they're religious. You aren't being any better than the others, and I have MANY good and kind religious friends.
