That Slipknot/KoRn/King 810 tour looked so goddamn legendary. Like one of those lineups that are just perfect.

I don't like Korn all that much. I honestly don't know what the big deal is.

Yeah they discography is kinda weak but a couple albums are solid like the self-titled. I thought it was a cool tour because there arent a lot of nu metal tours anymore (its not 1999 lol) and slipknot and korn were like the two biggest bands in the scene, and King 810 has a lot of hype and is super directly influenced by the other bands (+20% band similarity tour awesomeness bonus).

Are you going to any shows in Toronto soon Doom? I'm going to Dark Tranquility and Insomnium on sunday with my cousin and im pretty stoked.

I haven't been paying much attention to the concert scene. My money's being spent (the willful spending that is) on toys, lol. My collection keeps growing every month.

Word, if you want to know about more about shows happening in the area bookmark Inertia Entertainment's website, that's where I go to find most of the shows I go to ever since I deleted facebook. Noel always puts on the best shows real talk. http://inertia-entertainment.com/

Hopefully I'm going to Marduk in just over a week. Transport to the city they're playing is looking like the main issue at this point.

Didn't make it to Marduk, turned out that the dudes I was gunna go with had more pressing uses for their money too. :(

I'll have to check that album out. I've mostly been spinning the crucial power metal jams lately.

Nokturnal Mortum s releasing a single to benefit the Ukrainan troops still battling the Russians. It is a re-recording of "Hailed Be The Heroes" from the Weltanshaaung album, looks to be great, as their recent works have proving!

I'm becoming more interested in Skillet. Anyone here a fan?

I adore Skillet, though mostly the newer stuff. Favourites are Rise, Awake and Alive, Hero, Circus for a Psycho and Monster. Those are some of the heavier songs. They do a lot of gentler stuff that I really don't go for.

I'd recommend against reading the comments. Skillet has one of 'those' fan bases, unfortunately. It's especially bad in any Rise videos. That song seems to drag the f**kheads out of the woodwork to wave around their victim complex and invite all kinds of ill advised activity.

They were one of the earliest bands I listened to back when I was in high school and when Nu-metal was the big thing. Out of Nostalgia I like them still, well the earlier stuff but if I only just started to listen to them now I doubt I would like them as much.
