I'm just struggling to understand why Godzilla Vs Kong, an objectively bad film is getting such praise after 10 years of everyone ripping on the Transformers movies for pretty much being the same thing, did everyone just decide overnight it was ok to lower the bar?

Yes. Jeremy Jahns is an idiot, I've known that for years. by the way, I've already heard every negative thing anyone has had to say about the movie and 80% of it is hyperbolic bullshit. "This movie has a family you won't care about." Why can't I care about them, Jahns? Why can't I care about them?
