I love how poll result and comments here contradict.

AVP-R by mile. Horrible acting, ridiculous pacing, bad lighting effect. How human characters are felt completely separated from the other monsters, etc...
I don't know how people can choose Predator, Alien, Aliens over this. It doesn't make any sense!

The poll is outdated and should not be taken as the actual general consensus of the site's members' opinions. Every time a new movie is released it is simply added to the list, but we're unable to retract our votes if our opinion changes with current releases.

Personally, I think that this thread (and the Favorite Movie thread) should just be locked and restarted.

Alien Ressurection is still my least favorite, not suprised to see AvP-R leading the votes though it lookx like the hate might have died down a bit here.

I enjoy alien resurection, dont know why people hate it so much    yes is not in the same level as alien or aliens but is not a bad movie, is very entertaining and has a great atmosphere, and the soundtrack is awesome! very scary, one of the best of the franchise in my opinion!
If i have to give a score to this film i will give it a 7,0/10.

Alien: Resurrection. I can live with everything else; at least they honored the canon. But Resurrection's whole clone thing was terrible.

I actually liked the newborn as a sympathetic-yet-hideous creature.

I'd say the first AvP movie. The PG13 rating really hurt it, and though it was trying to keep in some line with the spirit of the comic books, setting it on Earth just...nope. Couldn't get into that.

AvP:R is somewhat amusing, so I put it a bit higher than regular ol AvP. I also like the stupid levels of gore and violence in AvP:R, even if the lighting makes some of it hard to see.
