Mind you I did agree with 'opaque' until I just looked up's it's proper definition.  Dictionary says "impenetrable to light".  Though Wikipedia says "Opacity or opaque refers to something difficult to see through or perceive".  That fits so I'll stick with it.  Good ol' ever-accurate Wiki.

An overall listing of the life cycle, physical characteristics, intelligence, and social structures as presented in the films, for both creatures (except the Pred life-cycle...) with lists of variations and some possible explanations. I know if you were to look at every site you'd find all that information, but my idea would be to just stick it into one neat place.
