The Big Chap ARTFX+ Statue is a 8.5″ statue of the “Big Chap” Xenomorph from 1979’s Alien, from Japanese studio Kotobukiya. It was released at some time in 2016. The statue includes a diorama style base that is similar to the floor grating of the Nostromo spaceship. The base is compatible with the ARTFX+ Alien Warrior statue and also includes a white LED light.

The 1/10th ARTFX+ Statue format has been providing collectors with high quality, medium scale figures with top notch sculpts and affordable price tags, and now there’s a new property joining the fun: Alien. Following after the Warrior Drone from Aliens comes the original creature that scared audiences in 1979’s Alien by Ridley Scott, the Xenomorph known to fans and collectors as BIG CHAP! The fearsome creature stalks its prey on the USCSS Nostromo, leaning forward out of the shadows with its claws, tail, and snapping jaws at the ready. The alien looks like it just stepped off the screen and onto your shelf with an incredibly detailed sculpt bringing to life all of the intricate elements of its exoskeleton and the iconic translucent top of the head revealing the elongated skull beneath it.
Big Chap includes a diorama-style display base sculpted to resemble the flooring of a spaceship and comes with six panels and four joint pieces for walls and ceilings that are interchangeable with the parts that came with the ARTFX+ Aliens Warrior Drone. And that’s not all; the classic alien even brings you a white LED so you can light your own scene in the ultimate display customizability! Sculpted by M.I.C./Yoshiki Fujimoto, Big Chap towers over 8 ½ inches tall (1/10th scale). It will be the stand out in any Alien display and looks fantastic alongside other Alien statues from Kotobukiya!
