The original dinosaurs did infact die from the lycine deficiency stated by Samuel L. Jackson in the film as the island didn't offer proper plants for the herbivores like in Sorna. That still doesn't prevent people from bringing new dinos there.

Dr. Malcolm has that conversation with John Hammond in JP2.  I remember Dr. Hammond saying something about them flourishing with out treatment...isn't that why they went to the Island?

Yes, InGen knew that there still were live dinosaurs at Site B, which is why TLW took place there. As for Nublar, that ones about the only "fresh" plotline still left in this franchise. What has the island turned to, is there still anything in there, did InGen sell it to someone else, someone who has more plans for it? There's you premise.

It all depends on what continuity we go by, the movies continuity, would have the Pterasaurs (IIRC) escaping the aviary, and all the animals on Nublar, would still be there, unless DX has kicked in. Book continuity, and you have animals on the costa rican mainland, Sorna is still populated by animals, and Nublar got nuked to hell, not to mention some people that died are still alive, i cant remember if TLW States that Muldoon died

Muldoon survived in the first book. Malcom did die in the first book, but he "survived" his injuries and came back in the 2nd book.

I know muldoon survived the first book, but i remember a bit in TLW, where i think its Dodgson, or someone discussing the people that died, such as Gennaro who died of Dysentry? I cant remember if muldoon was listed.

Nah, Muldoon isn't even mentioned in the 2nd book. Drunken Muldoon would have been interesting, at least he had a massive stockpile of weapons...and booze.

Bloody-Disgusting learned this weekend that Universal Pictures has officially begun casting for Jurassic Park IV, which will film in Kauai, Hawaii later this year! Laura Dern confirmed her return to the franchise as Dr. Ellie Sattler here as Sam Neill will NOT return. We're told that the film is about the government who has trained dinosaurs to carry weapons and use them for battle purposes. Based on the I can now safely declare that this franchise has entered 'ridiculous sequel mode'. Watch for more news soon.

This is a JP fan script I wrote 6 years ago.  I revised it a couple of times before the guy who asked me to write it piked out of the project.

Reading again for the first time since I wrote it, some of it still works and some of it is fairly embarrassing.  It wears it's references squarely on it's sleeve.

Note that this was written long before I saw the third film, so the couple of gags that seem lifted straight from JP3, are just coincidence.
