I suppose in this day and age of online it's not the biggest of deals but it's kind of annoying. Co-op split screen has been a staple of Halo since inception.

Thats a pretty big deal to me. Me and my friend have always gone through campaigns on Legendary since the original CE came out. Now its just become a thing to blow through legendary on the first night of release, and beat all the campaigns of the previous Halo's on legendary in the weeks leading to the new game.
I'm pretty bummed by that news.

You're missing the point.

Not really. Just not dwelling on the downside. As I said earlier, it's a disappointment because it's been a staple for so long. I've had many-a-splitscreen sessions with 1/2/3 but in this day and age, very rarely play split screen anyway.

I'd be curious to know the reasoning behind why they did this.

What do you think about the new info regarding Halo 5? Too awesome (except for the revive tactic which sounds too much Gears of War-like, but I'd like to see how this turns out).

I think there was an issue in the link, it said Kelly was part of Osiris and the in game screens/campaign preview showed other wise.
I'm excited for the Chief and (finally) in game interactions with Blue team.

It does, but I'm waiting for more like this. I want to see if they will merge the Hololens w/ the game somehow.

Hicks you read the books, do they give any indication that Brutes might be back in Halo 5?

Not really. They showed up early on in the on-going comic series for a peace treaty with the Arbiter but it went to pot. Can't say they've been featured heavily in the EU at all.

Hey all. Most of you recognize my name as an active member on the forum but I have also started to become more active on Youtube! I recently purchased an Elgato HD60 capture box and have started to upload Halo videos. I would be honored if AvPG members would check out some of my montages and leave some feedback/subscribe.

I would like to do other games as well, but once I get a working video cam I would like to do some reviews on other things, such as NECA figures and movies.
