Halo 2 doesn't have to be anniversary.  They could release it under various different titles to avoid the 10 year anniversary the first one got.

I finally finished the Combat Evolved.  Though I didn't really care for the flood section of the game.  I think they kind of got stuck trying to make the flood scary as well as trying to maintain the action of the covenant parts of the game.  It just kind of dragged when they showed up and felt almost like a different game.  It also made it easier, since all I had to do was run around with the shotgun blasting fools that ran straight at me.

After nearly 5 years of service my old Halo 3 Xbox is finally in its death throes, and I wasn't really feeling the Limited edition of Halo 4, so this struck at just the right moment. My brother and I have begun our saving, hopefully by November we can buy it.

Looks great, agree that Chief sounds a bit off, that distress call at the end kinda sounded like Cortana to me.

And chief sounds "off" because he's younger, they got the right voice actor but he isn't doing as gravely a voice because here chief is... I think about 20, maybe younger, and in Halo he's nearly 41.

Ah wait, I stand sort of corrected. In 343's podcast they said that us his voice is different because he's younger, but it turns out Steve Downs isn't doing the young voice, it's someone else.

I don't understand why they don't just use Steve Downes. Felt the same watching Halo Legends. I mean, I get that he's supposed to be younger, but Downes is Master Chief.

Still, the series looks great.
