Billy should have been the prize trophy

Billy sensed the Predator from the beginning. Kept looking at the trees and noticing things are weird with lack of tracks etc.

Billy also stood his ground on that tree trunk bridge.

Dutch was not a person of specific interest until he started provoking the Predator, but Billy was way ahead of everyone else.

Shame that Predator just brushed it off like no big deal and killed him off-screen.

Jungle Hunter is a tough crowd.

He did end up as a trophy anyway, the predator acknowledged him as worthy enough to take his skull, so there's that.

With the parallel to Taabe being the best warrior and suffering a chest cut in the same place, I think Prey caught on to that fact.

I agree with this. He seemed like he would have made for a more dangerous opponent as opposed to Dutch, he even was aware that something was out there stalking them before anyone else.
