The whole Alien prequel morphing into a totally unrelated movie morphing into a movie set in the Alien universe saga was insane.

Although seriously, given his more recent films? ... at least it'll look pretty.

Looks like SiL wasn't thrilled with the idea of RS directing an Alien prequel from the beginning

My argument was always that after 35 years there was really nothing more special about getting Scott himself back than any other good director. And after then-recent films like Robin Hood I wasn't filled with confidence.
