So I was hangin' with the family today, when this white truck pulls up. That deer that was hit the other night got the attention of the neighbor's dog. The dog was hit by a car but not killed. Back was broken, internal injuries, and it was still trying to crawl out of the ditch. We told him who she belonged to. Naturally, the neighbors wouldn't answer the door for the guy. So he drove back down to where the dog was, loaded it in his truck and drove it away (presumably to be euthanized by the vet). When we finally got the neighbors to answer the door, all the wife told us was "oh, is she gone?".
