I don't know if it's a shame. I think it speaks to our character and dedication, that we want to be reliable and don't take our responsibilites lightly nor do we want to cause inconvenience to our fellow co-workers. Health concerns should still always come first of course, but this guilty character trait tends to go hand in hand with the best employees in my very humble opinion.
