Really? Wow, that's hard to imagine. I've always appreciated the treatment here and Hicks is one of the most fairest people I know.

It all comes down to perspective. 

From what I can remember the trouble always seemed to start whenever there was a political thread involved.  The departed group were communist, while here was very much pro right.

But despite them all being dirty hippie socialist, they were still my peeps. 

It also came from them just not caring.  It's just a random internet board.  There are thousands more.  So if something felt like it should be said, they would say it, because ultimately the consequences are not that serious.

Near enough pissed myself laughing at this comment.  I see the right wingers who left here because of "lack of freedom of speech and hating conservatives" show up on other places, slagging here off.

Yeah, and his authority was removed when I found out about that. But that whole incident led to me taking a more pro-active role around here with moderating. The crew got away with so much more than I tolerate these days, and they nearly made me quit here in the first place because of the trouble they caused. This is supposed to be a hobby, not a chore.

I don't give a f**k if you're a leftie or a rightie, I just care if you're a pleasant person to interact with or not. Let's leave it at that.

If you mean to the departed crew, it's way too late, they've all moved on. If you mean to the right, I didn't care then and I don't care now, unless someone is really going too far with their shit. Case in point, I wasn't involved at all until the aforementioned YT vids popped up.
