The vet was 80% sure it was caused by a door or gate rather than teeth. There's certainly types of dog whos incisors could strip the bone like that, but apparently it's consistent with the fairly common injury of a cat getting its tail closed in a door. This begs the questions, which neighbours house has he been sneaking into, and why would they be so violent about it instead of simply shooing him?

Just found out Jay West died yesterday. He was old staff from Alien Experience and a wonderful man. Really shitty day for the sci-fi community of.
