I actually never played any of the Dune games. Doubt I even knew they existed at the time. Later watched the cutscenes on the tube.
I pretty much bought a PC for C&C (and school stuff of course, if my parents should ask

This (/Red Alert) got replaced by StarCraft pretty quickly though, which was overall the better real time strategy game (BATTLE NET; I even was in a "clan"
).
