There used to be ducks you could feed there, but I haven't seen them for a couple of years now.

Did all the Elmer Fudds around there shoot them?

Not exactly.

But fowl play was involved.

We occasionally get ducks on our pond over the summer, although less so now that we've got a dog. The pond's out of sight of the house but he still occasionally ends up scaring them off.

Before the pooch they'd sometimes waddle up to the back door and quack loudly at us until we fed them.

Extra podcast time.

Watching The Outer Limits, full of comfy 90's character actors, with a raging thunderstorm outside, while eating a juicy steak and nice sides.

They created the "monster of the week" trope. I actually dig it, as it's more about science fiction than the  Twilight Zone TV show, which is more about Kafkaesque metaphors.

Someone thought I was 15. That was funny. Either she was crazy or I stopped aging and didn't notice.

I hate it when that happens. Especially when you're in line trying to buy an R-rated movie.

I took to growing facial hair to try and offset. Thanks to Amazon, it's no longer a problem.  ;D

I can spend years shaving my face, but not so much with a beard. The last time, I had a beard for only 3 months. I think it's the highest record in my whole life. But God! I felt like 5 years older at the time.

That said, I prefer to be shaved  :)

Just grow a mustache and split the difference!

Definitely facial hair is the key.  Growing out your armpit hair does not impact the equation.

I had a beard for 3 years. Haven't had one since and I don't miss it. I too prefer to be clean cut.

I gave up on shaving altogether.  I just use a trimmer on the shortest setting every few days to keep it at stubble length.
