The original Xbox is great, even if PlayStation won that generation. And Nintendo even closer.

From what I remember Xbox was technically superior. PlayStation just had an extra year or so and a much larger game catalogue behind it.

I've recently broken out my PS2 and been playing TimeSplitters 2. That game needs a remaster so bad.

Tell me about it. I spent hours unlocking all the characters. Easily one of the hardest games I've ever actually completed. The final few missions on the hardest setting were just infuriating. Even now I'm surprised by what a tough game it is, even on the easier difficulties. They don't make 'em like they used to!

I wish more shooters had that. I also found an old memory card with all my saved maps on it, been such a nostalgia rush going back and playing them again!

It was. "Normal Mapping" was a big deal. Chaos Theory, Halo 2, Butcher Bay, Doom 3.
