As far as I'm aware, it's just a riff on Power Rangers morphin time, and a goofy way to take the mickey out of a movie which doesn't really have much... Anything really.

Brilliant film. One of my faves growing up in the 80s. The sequel is a better film but takes a bit of a different tone at times. You'll love it.

Falling for Christmas - 2022

I liked Christmas music since it reminded me of the Home Alone movies hahahaah

Dashcam - 2021

Jesus Christ, the main character is one of the most annoying I've seen in my life! The irony of it all is that this is a good thing actually, since the actress did a good job in portraying a young right-wing influencer

It's one of those movies where a Blair Witch-like theme meets Internet and social media horror. There's a bit of a Lovecraft vibe too, I think

It has a neat central premise and some good scenes, but overall isn't very good.

Michael Myers felt like a minor side story in this one and I never like the idea of teamups.

I'm not so much into the slasher genre but I enjoyed this one and the 70's vibe feels so real.


Pearl - 2022

Anyway, I enjoyed it even more this prequel to the movie above 👀☝️ and the setting of the early 20th century is very well done...also nice reference to Wizard of Oz lol 🙈

Dead Mine (2012)

Similar style horror film as Outpost (2008) but with WWII Japanese soldiers.  An 'ok' film and how the film ends is annoying.

Smile 2022

Very in tune with It Follows though not quite as good in terms of story or soundtrack.
Really enjoyed the cinematography for this movie and thought it was an entertaining horror flick to catch in theaters.
As much as it relies on the jump scare tactic, it still accomplished being unsettling. Of course we were only two rows away from the screen which really amplified those jump scares and tense scenes.

Honestly liked this more than the first, the conflict with Namor and Talokan was really well done. I'm just disappointed a rumored cameo wasn't in the movie.
