Favorite Predator Design

The City Hunter is my personal favourite.

Does anyone out there like the 2010 Classic Predator more than the 1987 Classic Predator. For some reason, I do. I think mainly due to the more prominent dreadlocks, longer length, increased sized, the head shape too. It's only slightly different, but the slight changes make it one of my favorite Predator designs.

Not saying I no longer like the 87 Pred though.

It looked nice, but it had no... 'personality', for want of a better word. It felt like an excuse to put the old design in the film (probably was) rather than a character. The same could be said of a lot of the things in Predators.

Now that I look again, Crucified looks really rubbery too. The original looked way better, much more scaly and reptilian.

I have respect for ADI. Their stuff for the Thing prequel was awesome. Too bad the director then decided to replace all of their hard work with shit CGI.

Man they really look nothing alike when posted next to each other. I had always thought they looked the same, just with Crucified having longer dreads, but there are a lot of differences. Crucified is pretty much an entirely new design, rather than a homage to the original. Still, I like it alot. Way better than Berserker. Swept back dreads, bleh.
