I wouldn't be surprised. I'm not against Bale on this, I actually think he's a good actor.

Just treat it like it's an alternate universe, not the same that The Dark Knight trilogy, don't try to explain anything, just go to the plot.

He'd be my number one choice, seriously!!! There's only 2 problems:

1. Age: 41
2. He openly admitted that he is not interested in physical roles... he was once offered to go for a casting for McG's Superman, but turned it down, because he wasn't convinced he could achieve the physical appereance.
