It's different with my relatives because my uncles and aunts immigrated to the US. My cousins have better jobs and make more money than their parents did because my cousins are second generation Americans, are more fluent in English, and are more accustomed to the American culture. My uncles and aunts are more like the GI generation while my cousins are more like the baby boomers. My uncles and aunts devoted their life on raising their kids to become successful.
