The "Wind and the Lion" is the only title I'm unsure of.  If my senior memory is right I think that was an Omar Sharif film without cheating & googling it.

Forgive me  if I posted this before. "Missouri Breaks" is another excellent western.

Gonna go pick up the actual PS2 after work. I cracked my original Xbox out the other week so I could play CJ and it wouldn't read any damn disks. So...I decided to get a PS2 so I could also play the PS1 games too. I've got Resurrection but never played it. Decided it's time to change that. Shame I gotta bin the Xbox but I plan on picking up another at some point.

Clunky controls aside, I love that game.

So...I decided to get a PS2 so I could also play the PS1 games too. I've got Resurrection but never played it. Decided it's time to change that.

Do they work on PS2? I don't remember it being backwards compatible...

I know PS1 games work on PS3s, but not sure about 2s.

Yeah, it was backwards compatible. Certain titles may might not work (not many actually: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_PlayStation_games_incompatible_with_PlayStation_2) but for the most part it was.

I tried Resurrection out yesterday and it played fine. Still need to see if Trilogy runs. Hopefully the HDMI thing will be here today too.

I can confirm Trilogy works on the 3, so I'd assume it will.

The HDMI thing worked but it's funny because the picture is off-center on my TV. I couldn't find a reposition like you have on PC monitors but zooming sorted it.

Just waiting on the PS2 games to get here now!
