Maybe share a glass with your guy :)
Alas, he does not like to drink. Technically neither do I, but I have very expensive taste, so that is another good thing I suppose.

Ah that's a shame, well as long as it doesn't go to waste ;)

Last things I brought were
ShineDown : Sounds of Madness (2 disc Special Edition)
Sting : Symphonicity

Shocker by Wes Craven on DVD
and
Heavy Metal ( The Animated film from 1981/82)
What did you get for Christmas and what did you give?

Novak 1334

Latest edition to the King collection

Deathbearer

Mount and Blade: Warband

The adventures of Durgleturd have begun

Aliens vs Predator: Gold Edition

Picked it up for 50p in my local CEX.  Installed on my laptop.  One of the first games I ever bought after playing the demo from PC Magazine.  Once I'm done writing at midnight I will be sat in the dark, headphones in, playing through on of my all time favourite games

Big box?

The one Predator book I never read.

I haven't read that either.  Any good?

I've only read the first chapter so far. I've got so many books I need to read - I just can't pick one to start.

I used to have the Video of it, but it was one of the MANY things that the removal company lost of mine. So i had to get the DVD when i saw it. I wish they would do a third one. I remember one story (but not the title sadly) from an issue that would make a great sequence in a film

Doesn't the first one have a sequence based on O'Bannon's gremlins-on-a-bomber script that inspired Alien?

Whiskeybrewer

Yeah the sequence called B-17. They changed a bit of it for the film, but in the original magazine it was called Gremlins

Knew I'd heard that somewhere!

Whiskeybrewer

The main thing that annoyed me about Heavy Metal 2000 (Otheriwse known as FAKK) was that the story wasn't taken from any issue of the magazine. It was from somewhere else. and the guy who put together that one was involved in the magazine lol
