When I was about 7 months old, the Royals beat the Cardinals to take the World Series in 1985. This postseason is their first trip to the postseason since that run in 85. In a way, I am connected to this team in that regard. When the 2014 Postseason began, I wanted the Pirates to win (and they didn't), but was far more interested in the Royals winning. The run they are on is almost unbelievable and I am loving every second of it! Go Royals!
