Amazon are horrible when it comes to packaging their stuff. I don't order books from them anymore because they don't give two shits about protecting the product. Comes with bent pages, corners (haaaaate that) and or other defects.

Never had a problem with Amazon's shipments, myself. Their shipping prices are pretty bad, though. Especially since they raised the minimum order for free shipping to $35.

I only really order from them directly if I plan on spending $35 now. I'll occasionally go through some of the sellers if their prices are decent.
