I saw some clips  a few months ago when learning about philosophy and really liked what I saw, so I grabbed the movie today. If I end up not seeing Prometheus tonight (seems like its going to end up that way, unfortunately), then I'll probably give it a watch tonight

Well, I can certainly see a similarity between the two. And the overhead shot with Rufus Sewell in the tub as the light is swinging back and forth is totally something the Wachowskis would do.

The Matrix used Dark City's leftover sets. And when you think about it, the plot is actually almost exactly the same, right up to the now-superpowered-hero facing off with the villain and stopping the villains attack midair with his mind.
