Production on GAME OF THRONES Season 2 Begins This July

As the first season of Game of Thrones winds down, fans are already foaming at the mouth for the second season of the HBO epic fantasy series. Last week's episode really stirred the pot up with viewers, and I've heard that things get even more out of control as the story continues. Well, thankfully, production on the second season will be underway very soon as the cable network has revealed they will begin shooting July 25th in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The sprawling locations have been quite a majestic site in the series, and almost like characters themselves. New cast members, writers and directors will be revealed soon so stay tuned, but in the meantime, get pumped for the season finale this Sunday, June 19th.

I was actually surprised at how non tacky the cgi looked for them.  Good job hbo.
