I just... at this point, I feel like I'd be able to digest the show easier if it were a cartoon.

Hear me out: I mean, the show from what I've seen is basically a live-action cartoon that I'd have loved in my childhood years on Cartoon Network or something. I'm not even kidding or trying to sound demeaning to it, I just really feel like it being live action doesn't do it any favors in how I process what I'm being shown, so while I can appreciate most of its themes, for both the comedy and drama, I feel disconnected from it because it seems to be in some truly otherworldly element... which is why I suppose a lot of people love it so much, but that just doesn't work for me. Like the inverse of seeing Fairly Odd Parents go live action. Or exact same thing... I'm not even sure anymore.

Knowing a lot of the television episodes you've seen... I don't know how it's going to live up to that within the space of two episodes, but I'll give it a shot.

Maybe I'm overselling it a tad, but if you see "The Empty Child"/"The Doctor Dances" and it still doesn't sell you on the show, I guess there's no hope for you.

But at the very least, watch up to that.
