The final episode and in my opinion a fantastic one. Filled with great moments that make me choke up and cheer at the same time.

from Gibsons Alien reveal in the court room, Agent Reyes outburst in court over sacrifices,Mulders speeches to the face of Kershe and the board, Smoking mans final refuge and the classic helicopter assualt.

A heartfelt goodbye to the greatest show that ever was and ever will be.

The Wire S1E01 "The Target"

After hearing nothing but praise for this show, I just had to check it out. So far, hasn't grabbed me, but it's a rare show that's able to do that with a single episode. Loving the soundtrack, and I can definitely see myself falling in love with this.

Gonna keep at it, see how things go.

I wouldn't really say that's 'backtracking', per say. I'm the same way with a lot of things as well. I watch something, feel kind of indifferent, and then once I let it sit for a while my opinion will sway one way or the other.

Exactly. As I mulled over the episode in my mind, going over how the dialogue was handled, the characterizations, all the little storylines that were set up, but not blatantly, I'm getting more out of it than my initial reaction.
