Because i dislike the snakes here and in the movie makes me not welcome here to see his other good work? lol
I think snakes are just plain simple and after 30 years of waiting for the jockey i dont want to see snakes haha if you think that is the theme for Prometheus well good luck with your fckd up view of this good alien mystery.

It was meant ti demonstate how a simple organism becomes a complex one in a few minutes.

Ala simplicity becoming complexity.  Exactly what DNA is to us, the Chestburster is to the adult. It serves it's purpose.

Its just a cheap way to show us that, snakes where scary and cool in the times of farao's and stuff.
But in Prometheus id expected more then a simple snake.
