* The script tells of the space jockeys traveling from planet to planet and terraforming them. The process is essentially transforming a planet where living beings can exist.

So i guess the alien we know are actually "growers", and they are friendly terraforming tools used by jockeys... but then something goes wrong halfway through the film..... and pop goes the perfect killing machine
