Falconer was my favorite in the movie before I even knew what he did. His mask is so cool. I never buy any of this high-grade replica stuff, but I might have been tempted if he had a face, and a little birdy friend.
Great job!

That's the photoshopped picture I posted as far away from this thread as I could to prevent confusion.

Well, news from Hot Toys...

They've confirmed the reason they didn't sculpt a face for the Falconer is that they have been unable to obtain permission from the license holder FOX.

Just as I suspected.

Good news is...they're making the falcon!

From Hot Toys Facebook page...

"Hot Toys We always listen to our fans' comments and do our best to improve our product quality, a great news for fans today!

For the 1/6th Falconer Predator, because of fans' wishes, we will include the falcon as the accessory in the set! We hope that fans will be happy about that...and don't forget to stay tuned with our latest..."

What Hot Toys has done is give everyone a false sense of accomplishment.

Now, they can charge regular price for a figure that should STILL cost less than the Berserker.

Cap. Fitzgerald

^ I just wonder what Tusks is gonna get....He cant have a whole hound.
*pulls out checklist*
Mr. Black, check
Royce, check
Falconer, check
Tusks, no check
Isabelle, no check, still hoping
Noland, no check, possibly gonna get it....
*Puts away list*
Two more until an innocent store gets robbed.

Which is bull if you ask me. I'm sure whatever HT came up with was fantastic. I can't think of a single reason why Fox would turn it down.

I've got the action figures of falconer and berserker predators from NECA and I think they are pretty decent.... my only complain it's that the should have more articulations, specially in their legs....  ;)
