The Facehugger's facehugger

The Alien Prequel would be hard to imagine but I would make it more like a weirder appeal. The derelict spacecraft wasn't there before as a discovery crew(group of at least 18) assigned by the Weyland Yutani on Saturn's Moon, Titan would find the derelict spacecraft and but some of them, at least 7 of them would be kidnapped by the Space Jockey's to fulfill a science experiment with the Aliens. The rest of the crew goes in the Space Jockey ship(with weapons) to find survivors, but the Space Jockey ship would take off which they haven't hoped for, and then hell would break loose. They would have to face the Space Jockey's a battle in the ship, but while that's going on the Aliens would break out killing some of the Jockeys, freeing the eggs, and picking off the people trying to find survivors. There would then be a new introduced Alien as we know as "The Praetorian", about 10 ft tall, spiky, and with a harpoon-like tail, which would then start to capture the remaining people. There would be 3 people left, as they would face the large Praetorian with no more weapons. Soon, a surviving Space Jockey would help them kill it but it would end up to be facehugged coincedentally. The rest would be picked off by the Praetorian until the human hero would be killed when he sacrifices himself in the airlock when he lures the Praetorian. The Space Jockey would then send out a radio signal sent out by the humans to the Company, then he would put a warning beacon on the derelict to make noone come after it for the greater good. Soon, he would be killed by the Alien chestburster inside him which would crash the ship on LV-426 and the chestburster would unfortunately die in the crash creating the acid hole in the ship where Kane goes down and finds the eggs.

True, but I'd argue the look of the pilot - specifically the rubbed-off latex that Giger used to show it was incredibly old and fossilized - helped the "It's fossilized" case, in much the same way Bishop II's red blood helps his "I'm not a droid!" case.

Both of these things can be ignored in universe - It's an alien organism, who knows what it looks like fossilized, and maybe they just coloured his blood - but that way leads retarded hundreds of pages long threads.

That's just the point that can get Ridley out of the corner. For all we know a Jockey is made of Bone, he just forgot to dust the place down that day..

Either way this 20 year gap is going to be interesting. It leaves a ton of questions.
