I highly doubt this, but do you think they can think of a new way to make the audience have a physical reaction to whats happening on screen like in the first film?

Probably not, really.

Extremely realistic, extremely nasty deaths. The one that got people was Parker's death, not Kane's.

Yeah, and the chicken guts spilling out. Yummy!!

But I soo hope, the new movie will not be any slasher film or sort of. I would like to see as less of the remaining mystery of the species and "what" they do as possible.

Slasher? Ridley Scott?

And yes, there's a way, there's always a way.

Slasher? Ridley Scott?
1979. Can't remember the name of the film ... Allan, or something.

The known Ridley Scott, not the unknown Ridley Scott.

"But I soo hope, the new movie will not be any slasher film or sort of", sort of implicates a negative view towards said sub-genre. :)

It was merely an assurance on my part, that the film will be quality. :)

I would prefer this not to become Final Destination with Aliens thrown in.

1) I think you misunderstood him.
2) How exactly are the deaths in Final Destination "extremely realistic"?  :D

I was always partial to the Hungarian "The Name of the Ship: Death".

That´s what I meant ;)

of course, Alien was "chainsaw masacre" in space (As quoted often) But the "slasher" movies nowadays I refer too, are just crap (example "Friday13" new version etc...)

And who says it will be a horror movie anyway. First one was a truckdriver movie, second a Vietnam movie, third one a prison movie and fourth a french comedey  :D

Maybe Scott makes a social drama with Meryl Streep in the main cast. All still open.

Ripley - I'm grateful for the opportunity and all, but couldn't I get assigned to another ship?

Kane - "In hindsight, I should've seen something like this coming."

Egg transformation, in all its agonising and horrific glory. Something more in keeping with the deleted scene, rather than what was in the extended version.

And that original Space Jockey signal, where it genuinely sounds scary, instead of digital.
