No! Its a classic for a reason.

Giger should direct and the whole movie should be made in Switzerland too, with a Swiss cast and crew.  He should be given a budget of 150 mil and at least 2 years to make it, with complete creative control.

Lets start of by saying; it'll never happen. But seeing as what a horrific, unique world Giger created for his monster and the many concepts he done, would you like to see him design/and or direct an Alien remake?

Imagine a whole new series created by Giger...

well, I'd like to imagine what sort of movie he would create. He has sometimes talked about the movies that he likes and I wonder if that would reflect the sort of thing he might come out with as a movie. He also did have a sensible idea about how they should have ended Species, and I liked his biomechanoid train dream sequence plan

A Giger movie would be hella awesome. It's freaky, just thinking about what it'd be like. I mean, if a Giger picture (which would essentially just be a screenshot) is cool enough as it is, imagine how awesome a Giger movie would be.

Giger's Alien movie would be very interesting to watch, but i think it would probably be way to bizarre and unusual for the average joe's liking. It would probably be so f**ked up, like some 90min+ Apex Twin style of video with aliens.

I think the imagery and props he would use for the film would f**k with my head too much :P Not sure I'd be the same person after seeing his creations come to life.

Burn the Floor

I agree that Giger is a great concept man who could definitely come up with some really cool ideas, but like Kimo said, how can you expect him to direct a movie that anyone can understand? He could probably be a script consultant, but as far as the director, get someone visionary but intelligible.

Concept designer, set designer, creature design, ANY design.

But script consultant?  Nyet.

Giger's Mystery of San Gottardo book seemed quite coherent. I don't think he's as way out as his paintings.

If he was writing his own original story - no problem.

I'd love to see him make something about his own dreams and nightmares.  Besides his paintings based on his dreams etc id like to see him design and make a film on them.

AvPvTerminator

I can't see this film being anything other than animated.

Burn the Floor

Or full-on CGI.

A Giger film which is full on CGI would be terrible.  I hope that never happens.
