That's gonna be the definition of polishing a gem
This shot is amazing... Alien3 looks fantastic!
But am I wrong or in this shot there's still some green?
Good eye.. there's still green, just a little.. you shouldn't notice it when running the film I guess, btw is this the first time they remaster a shot filmed like that? I mean a puppet filmed in green screen and then inserted into the scene because it seems too fake, don't get me wrong I love Alien 3 but those shots worked well when the time it was released because the effects were good enough for the audience but since the original quadrilogy went out watching alien 3 specially when the runner is chasing the inmates in the tunnels you can clearly see that the alien is inserted into the sequence ala Copy/paste (like a bad photoshop) too fake and too cartoony, Is there a way that people behind the remasterization of this new set could be able to fix that?, or is it already fixed? I don't expect for them to do miracles but an upgrade for those shots would be nice, a filter or smething to make the image smooth and not so notorious, I guess I'll have to wait until they release de BD set.
EDIT: I didn't want to double post but if you are looking for comparison shots about DVD vs BD regarding the anthology set you definetly have to check this out
