AvPGalaxy's Least Favourite Movie

I just watched Alien: Resurrection today for the third time, my God. How could I forget how friggin' terrible this movie was? Jesus Christ, it's full of ridiculous, cheesy, terrible and just plain awful ideas, dialogue and scenes. I never thought I'd say this, but I'd rather watch AvP:R than Alien: Resurrection.

I now wish to call Alien: Resurrection, Alien: Resurrectum.

This post just made me smile. It also reminded me of the last time I watched Resurrectum. The people on this site made me give the movie another chance and they should feel ashamed for making me watch it.

I just find Predators a better movie. Rewatching AVPR... meh... it ain't so great now.

Alien 3 and the AVP movies are the worst in my book. Alien 3 cuz they killed Hiks and Noot! And the AVP films for just sucking all around.

I never really saw the big deal with Hicks and Newt dieing.

I just felt like it was a big "F You" to the audience, after they survived the colony in Aliens and we the audience became attached to them they're just killed off in a crash at the beginning of the movie. You see I watched all movies in a row when I was introduced to the series, so I was just recovering from being blown away by Aliens as I started with Alien 3 and the first thing that happens is they kill off my favorite Marine in his sleep and then drown Newt in her pod (and she was awake through it all). As to whether or not it's a big deal I can only say that's what I felt about the third film.
