I asked a girl I liked out once last semester but she said that since we lived so far apart it wouldn't be a good idea, so I left it at that. This semester, we've really gotten to connect with each other and I think she likes me better than last semester, I guess I changed a little. I still have this crush for her, but I remember what happened last semester.

Right now, I assume the ball is in her court and if she wanted something to come up, it would be up to her to make the first move. Is this the correct assumption or is it that because I'm a guy, the ball will always be in my court? I figure I might as well ask this now while I still have a chance with her as opposed to later when it might be too late and I'll start regretting the things I could have done (that's how it goes in the movies, right? ).
