Drug overdose, suicide, he still killed himself by doing something moronic.

There's no doubt what he did wasn't so smart, but when you have your personal life crumbling around you, constantly working, fighting a cold, and can't fall asleep even after taking Ambien, who can blame him? He was desperate, and desperatation makes people do desperate things.

I thought he was drunk and he took sleeping pills that got messed with the Alcohol in his body causing his heart to stop?

No, it was a combination of anxiety pills, sleeping pills, and some other stuff. He took them at the same time, and together they cause the heart to stop. I don't think any alcohol was involved. Doctors say it's a pretty common fatal mistake.

That's a widespread myth.
Yes he was at a Coke den, because he was set up by paparazzi's in order to get secret video footage of Ledger in a "bad place"
The autopsy revealed that there where no traces of illegal drugs in his system.
