So you could possibly own a real life prop from 'Aliens'?

Thats just... sweet.

Well, most of that stuff just goes into scrap heaps after they finish filming. Some of it gets rescued and gets out into the world. Both of my props came from scrap heaps lol.

Got my repainted FuRyu Predalien back from Joe Dunaway today.
I have to say...this is one AMAZING repaint.

Again, the sculpt is fantastic, but the original factory paint work was horrible.

We went with a "more Alien than Predator" color scheme and I think it came out great!

Thanks a million to Joe for doing this one for me.

Also...I finally got around to fixing my Gung Bros. Emperor Alien kit.  I got this one quite a LONG time ago, but it arrived damaged.
I had no way of fixing it.  Fortunately, one of the guys from The Clubhouse offered to cast the damaged parts for me from his own kit.
So, HUGE thanks to Shane for that.  Fixed it up tonight and repainted the damaged areas.  Looks as good as new.

Here's the pics.
For the Predalien, I threw a few in there with a NECA Alien for scale (also featuring one of Reverend's killer dios).

You're right, that is a pretty awesome repaint! Where did you initially get the figure?

Yahoo Japan auctions.

You can find ALOT of great Alien/Pred stuff there that you normally won't find in the states.

I paid about $50 for this and the AvP:R Alien shipped from Japan...months before they started showing up on eBay in the U.S.

Just got this in from Thailand the other day. Custom made, hand-painted, resin-sculpted. Basically he just stripped down a 4GB flash drive and sculpted around it. Its pretty much badass.

How exactly did he do it??? I would like to give it a shot and try making a shoulder cannon one ;)

I didn't ask specifically, but this was the prototype, so I believe he essentially just stripped down the drive, then sculpted directly on to it.
