BigDaddyJohn

I understand, I wouldn't be sure of anything to be honest.

SiL

I know where the cat is and I have a gun. I'm getting the cat.

Immortan Jonesy

But Big Chap loves the cat :)

BigDaddyJohn

Yep actually he tried to free Jones when he hit the box ;D

And do what, exactly? It's 10 months to home, they don't have enough air to wait that long. They have to get rid of the Alien.

No idea what they'd do... My point is I'd be shitting myself

shit,We all completely misjudged big chap.
He didn't want to touch Jonesy at all and he didn't want to hurt Ripley either.
He had just laid down in the narcissus to sleep and wanted to be left alone.
So what happened with the other crew members was purely a misunderstanding.
Ripley is the enemy!
she simply threw him out of the shuttle. witch!

Hopefully Fede can convey this better in the new film and finally get our understanding of the xenos on the right track.
I'm ashamed that we treated this poor creature so badly...

BigDaddyJohn

How unsensitive we are

Wweyland

I would have not gone for Jones. Maybe for Newt, but the circumstances were much more difficult then.

SiL

The circumstances for Newt were worse.

Xenomrph

Just wanted to say that all y'all saying you wouldn't have saved Jones are objectively and morally wrong and will be the first ones up against the wall when the revolution comes.  >:(

You don't want to be on the wrong side of history, do you?  :'(

Local Trouble

I will absolutely die on that hill.

Quote from: SiL on Mar 04, 2024, 12:04:52 PMWe are forgetting she was armed with a flame thrower.

Didn't do Dallas any good

BigDaddyJohn

But pretty sure why he went to the vents like that was that he had a flamethrower in the first place.

Why didn't Ripley go back to the nest for the kidnapped marines and even advise against it?
According to the transmission, they were still alive.

Is your mother's name Selina Kyle by any chance?  :o

SM

Going after the marines into a nest full of Aliens was suicidal.

When she went after Newt the nest was mostly empty because they were still attacking the colony.
