We did.

Except apparently it's the wet kind. Apparently there is a wet kind.

And the La Niña that's on its way is the dry kind.

I thought the whole point of El Niño was "dry"? I'm not sure these Latino visitors are being entirely honest. Somebody call Border Force.

It's apparently "probably dry" more than "Just dry".

Higher than average rainfall and heat will persist until March  :'(

Our usual very dry, scorching Summer here in Adelaide has been the complete opposite. Lots of colder snaps, plenty of humidity, rain mixed with a few very hot days. It's been very tropical. Never seen my backyard or local greenery so lush and alive.

Which means there will be a lot more bushfire fuel is next summer is dry.

I think we've maybe three 3 days over 30 this summer.  Quite a few high 20s, high humidity, but more often than not, cool and wet.  Giving me the shits. We've usually had a couple of 35+ days by now, if not 40+.

Getting deployed.

It's not that I'm getting deployed, its that when it is kind of f**ks everything else up I had planned for the year.  Oh well.

Where to?

Middle East.

I'm betting that most people will know where based on current events.

Still lots of hurdles and hoops to jump through, so we will see.  Going to be much older this time around so I have to survive all the health processing stuff first.

Correct about the fires.
Which state you in? We used to get continued days of 40+ here. Strange weather.
