Shazam! (2019)
This was loads of fun. Zachery Levi oozes confidence and likability as the larger than life DC superhero. It's part Goonies, and part Big but all heart. I said this before, with Aquaman, given the right direction the DC universe can be a lot of fun. It doesn't have to be dark and dreary simply because one of its heroes dresses in a rubber batsuit and sulks in a cave. There's so much potential in this universe, and both Shazam, and Aquaman have shown that. Even Wonder Woman.
We Die Young (2019)
Jean-Claude Van Damme goes up against MS-13 in this solid crime thriller. His character doesn't say anything throughout the whole film, and its a physical performance to portray emotion. I liked this. The surrounding cast was good as well. Particularly the actor who was the head of the MS-13 gang.
