I couldn't find this one. Got the original source for it?
Yeah sure.
Not big on just throwing in youtube files etc myself. That said, I am trying to get through everyones recommendations here.
"Kalpamantra is also a modern purveyor of quality darkness"
https://kalpamantra.bandcamp.com/album/endless-descent-into-oblivionLV-426 is Track 3 in this behemoth of compilation.
Likewise, I spin those H.P. Lovecraft records often.
Parhelion - Midnight Sun is my current obsession though. If Antarctic desolation is your Jam give it a go. The first track is kinda throw away but The Transmission, Midnight Sun and Forgotten Outpost are stunningly beautiful. Should be on youtube surely

Haxan Cloak wasn't bad at all, mate.
I felt the perhaps Industrial influences in there. Worked Well.
Paysage d'hiver has always been hit or miss for me personally, as can be the case for Artists of such prolific profile.
Tiefe means 'Deep', at least I'm sure enough it does without resorting to google. Or a German Dictionary.
A fitting title for the Smothering Wash of Drone/Echo overlaying the drum machine and Emperor/Anaal Nathrakh tonal similarities.
f**king enjoyed it though, thank you.
I guess I'll always hold Burzum - Hvis Lyset Tar Oss to a pinnacle for this Ambient/Black Metal amalgamation.
The first time I heard it at a Record Bar through headphones upon request back in 1998, as $44 for 4 songs was a huge ask for me financially.
It really took me away! From the first note to the last, and it still does.
On the the topic of Ambient Black Metal, Australian outfit Ill Omen has (among many releases) an Unholy Trinity well worth the time digging into.
Spear of Salvation (ep)
Remnant Spheres of Spiritual Equilibrium (ep)
Enthroning the Bonds of Abhorrence (album)
Also, Elysian Blaze - Blood Geometry is a 2hour journey constructing meta-physical Monoliths of pure Darkness.
Worth the exploration and introspection. In future, I shall post recommendings of this nature in the Black Metal thread.
