There's a single issue story collected here called "The Long Crap Friday".

I Heard You Paint Houses, by Charles Brandt

So far it's more engaging than the few chapters I read of Casino. Frank Sheeran may very well have been full of shit, but a good deal of his story so far feels real enough. Well, maybe not the bit about him losing his virginity to a pair of show girls in a carnival.

That's a crazy series. The first three are very good. The fourth and fifth are okay, and I haven't read the latest one yet.

Currently 230 pages in Cibola Burn, Expanse 4. These books are just so easy to read and addictive to get into to.

I keep thinking of trying those, but I've got so many unread books piled up beside my bed I really don't need to start on a completely new series :(

Started Alex White's A Big Ship at the Edge of the Universe the other night. Been wanting to read this ever since Cold Forge. I'd completely forgotten it has magical elements in it, which threw me a bit at first, but I'm quite liking what little I've read thus far!

Started Mean Business on North Ganson Street by S. Craig Zahler. Gritty crime writing at its finest and most brutal.

I quite like the show. Only saw about a season and a half though. The book is good. The writing could have been better, but the story and the mythology is very engaging.
