Good catch. How could I forget that scene? I'm definitely gonna have to rewatch S01 and S02 someday soon to refresh the memory banks.

I'm still standing behind the Ramsay and Sansa meetup though...it will at the very least show up in some GoT S&M fanfic; I'm sure of it.

Watching that Hound vs. Mountain scene again, I guess I forgot who the original Mountain actor was. Didn't they recast him with the freakishly tall dude during the scenes at Harrenhal?

The recast for the Mountain and Viper scenes looks much closer to the original actor seen here in the tournament scene.

Maybe I'm getting delusional lol...

Nah, you're right. During the Harrenhall scenes in season 2 he was played by Ian Whyte, who also played the main White Walker in the first tow seasons and the giants in seasons three and four. He also played our beloved Predators in the AVP films and the Engineer in Prometheus

Of the three actors playing the Mountain, he was probably the least fitting. Had Tywin never referred to him as Gergor I'm not sure if I would have even known who he was supposed to be. Conan Stevens was good in season one, but Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson has been the best in the role this past season.

Yeah I prefer the beefcake man-mountain to the tall, creeper mountain, but Ian Whyte did have a very dark and creepy look to him that I liked. Wasn't nearly as physically impressive, though.

I had some friends over during the finale specifically so I could watch their reactions during Tywin's death and, even more so, during the Stoneheart reveal. Dammit, why wasn't Stoneheart in the episode!?! That scene feels like it was made to be the one of the best cliffhanger endings ever!

I also had a similar internal reaction at the start of the season when my friend told me how much he loved Oberyn after the premiere
